A Special Pull Monday

I DON’T often nLL axle strapseed an excuse to deadlift. Tonight I had a good one though. A short while back, James of Loaded Lifting and I had a long talk about axle straps, and tonight he provided me with Loaded Lifting’s prototype pair to test out. Exciting stuff, well for me anyway… coz I got to pull instead of squat (like my program says I should) and with the axle, from the floor, for kicks

I’ve already sung the virtues of this great new LL product, and I see no reason in rehashing:
Compared with the staple ‘Spud’ axle strap, this LL product is far superior: the cotton material doesn’t require scoring and wearing-in to improve grip, the strap itself is markedly thinner than a spud, so it wraps the axle and fits more comfortably in your hand, and the additional grip provided by the rubber nodules proved to be an excellent new feature, and something I’ve not seen before.
Due to their thinner design, they are also versatile and can be used in place of conventional straps for barbell work.
I appreciate Loaded Lifting seeking my input during the R&D for this great new product. The straps have exceeded my expectations. I will be recommending them to all my trainees.
