Bad Knee Wednesday

I hadn’t squatted in too long, and sought to remedy that with a mid-week session. But something went wrong. It was not a huge issue, ultimately, just my shitty knees being shitty. Coming out of the hole with 230 kilos, my left patella started singing and I shifted my weight onto my right… stalled for a second, completed the squat but it was ugly and painful. No more tonight.

I then suffered a further blow when I mis-loaded my bent over rows to 150 kilos and decided to be cocky and ask if it was worth taking a vid. “I didn’t get a video when I did triple Pendlays at 150.” Darwin said nonchalantly.

Oh yeah, that’s right. There are other strong people at this gym. You’re not hot shit.
